Felted Wool Huarache Laces Take 2

After some trial and error I think I've finally got my perfect huarache lace. Simple, Soft, Strong, and beautiful. I changed the way I made them slightly, and I think I prefer the look of them this way, not to mention how much quicker they come together and it uses less yarn. A win in all categories.

  1. Hi; I found your blog through the BF forum over at Runner's world. Good luck with the continuing transition! I'm new to barefoot running as well (about 6 weeks in) after not running for a while. You can see my ranting on it, among other topics, at my blog: http://restartrinserepeat.blogspot.com/

  2. How durable is the knot under the sandals? 100 mile? Thanks.

  3. Hi Nergock!
I honestly have no idea how durable these will be. At this point I'm actually more concerned with the durability of the edges than the underneath knot (just from looking at my current amount of wear). I have seen/heard of some suggested solutions to this though, so if it proves to be an issue I will give them a try.
